First Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church located in Lexington, Nebraska.  We believe that God’s Word provides a solid foundation on which to build our lives.  We believe God has a purpose and plan for every life.  We invite you to come find God’s plan and purpose for your life with us at First Baptist!

In our services, we sing the old hymns of the faith to help to prepare our hearts for the preaching of the Word of God.  Our pastor is currently preaching on the life of Daniel in the 11 AM worship service.  In Sunday School, he is currently teaching a series of lessons that start at creation and end with Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross.  On Wednesday nights, he is teaching on the Biblical Doctrine of Salvation.  As a family oriented church, we have a nursery room available, but we welcome you to keep your small children in the service with you so your family can worship together!
